Legacy and Foundation
Ital Services Egypt was established under Law No. 8 of 1997 as a Free Zone Company, owned by the same private partnership behind SMAPE Srl, a leading Italian oilfield services company with more than 30 years of global experience.
The company was officially registered in the EGPC Vendor List (Reg. No. 1072008-02) on February 5, 2008, and later in the EGAS Vendor List on March 17, 2009.
From the beginning, Ital Services Egypt brought European know-how and international operating standards to the Egyptian market — delivering Well Intervention Services (Coiled Tubing, Well Testing, Nitrogen Pumping, Liquid Pumping & Stimulation) and Early Production Facilities (EPF) with a strong focus on quality, safety, and reliability.
Our foundation in Egypt marked a milestone in transferring SMAPE’s technical excellence and innovation to the region.
Today, that same vision continues to guide our growth — combining local dedication with global expertise to serve Egypt’s energy sector as a trusted and recognized partner in oil and gas operations.
Since its establishment in 1989, SMAPE has built a reputation for executing complex and unique oilfield projects using advanced technologies. Over the years, the company has progressively expanded within the Coiled Tubing (CT) market, driven by a commitment to technical innovation, continuous research, and significant investment in its Downhole Toolsdepartment.
By the early 2000s, SMAPE had become a market leader in Italy, broadening its portfolio to include Stimulation, Pumping, Pipeline, and Chemical Injection Services, and extending its operations across Europe, Croatia, Georgia, Russia, Congo, and Equatorial Guinea. Subsidiaries and joint ventures were later established in Egypt, Albania, Romania, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, creating a truly global network built on local expertise and international excellence.
